In the autumn of 2025, I captured an image of a tree shedding its bark while strolling through my favorite West Seattle park. This photograph evoked memories of specific periods in my life when I have felt compelled to release or let go of certain aspects of life, including situations, things and individuals that no longer align. In these instances, I recognize the necessity of shedding the past to unlock the potential for the future. At times the path is clear, while other times it’s a bit hazy just like a part of the tree photo.
Here is a part of my story and how I came to discovering yoga. From that to this website combining Yoga, Order & Art.
Suchana Kullayanavisut, RYT 500
My experience living in Thailand and the US combined with a passion for health, cultivated my desire to find balance in everyday life from a young age. Having experienced the challenges and joy of living in both Eastern and Western culture, this allowed for me to be open and learn to adapt to the experiences of everyday life.
I was an avid runner for several years until a knee injury at age 20 opened me to redefine my activity and a way to relieve stress. Through this process I discovered that yoga can be a foundation for health and well-being in any person’s lifestyles - regardless of age or fitness level. Yoga is not just asana/poses, it is a preparatory for individuals to learn how to connect with our inner self, find balance and your definition of meditation.
Having self studied yoga for over 10 years, I completed my 500 hour Yoga certification in 2013, with emphasis in alignment techniques and mind-body awareness. Through the practice of integrating different modalities, synchronicity of movement and breath we have the ability to find the stillness and the light that is within all of us.
I teach yoga and meditation because it has changed my life. It took me many years and living at moments, through roller coaster of life: uncertainties, fear, injuries, and deaths. With time and practice, I’ve learned to feel comfortable in my own skin, know I’m on the right path and found moments of peace within. I am more connected with myself, family, community and the unknown. As a mindful and compassionate practitioner I seek to share the physical and mindful benefits of yoga, meditation, movement and sound healing.
To living more comfortably and confidently within ourselves!

“I have been meditating on and off for the past 30 years. I somehow fall out of the practice because it becomes a “suppose” to do thing. I went to Suchana’s Aldermarsh retreat to see if I could find a different way to approach meditation. I must say, she definitely helped get me unstuck. Her teaching style and concepts transformed my idea of meditation from a chore to something that can be enjoyable!”

“I didn't have any experience in meditation techniques. Suchana made it very comfortable and it was a phenomena experience that changed the course of how I approach daily life.
